Another month passed with some important landmarks, but also a very disappointing development. Read all about it in this month's roadmap.
Global Endurance Mod updates & 2018/19 release
This month, we released some important updates for the Global Endurance Mod - Season 2019/20 and the Community Car Add-on. We also released the 2018/19 version of the mod, replicating the Super Season. Both mods are far from finished, with the Le Mans grids of 2018 and 2020 still to be added. We also need to adjust the 2018/19 skins and add the cars that featured in single races in the 2018/19 season. First priority is Le Mans 2020, which is a big project. We can't give any estimation on the release date yet, as it largely depends on the availability of our livery artists. Want to help out? Send me (Danny de Haas) a DM and we'll discuss the details.
The Ginetta also received some big updates to improve both the drivability and the AI behavior. We still have some fixes pending, which are in the testing phase now. If all goes well, you can expect another big update soon.
GEM 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps
This weekend was supposed to be a very special weekend for us, running our first ever full endurance event. We had everything arranged in minute detail and the weekend ran very well, until the race start. Because of an error we made in the server configuration, the game kept sending out the safety car. After a first attempt to fix it didn't work, we were forced to postpone the event. We have replaced the planned 4 Hours of Silverstone with "Take 2" of the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps to settle this unfinished business.
A companion for the Ginetta
Last month, I already hinted at a new car we are building. I can't resist giving you another hint, which is that it will be a companion for the Ginetta in LMP1. More will follow in next month's roadmap update...
